Jehangir Rahujo

Jehangir Rahujo was born in village Wagan of district Larkana, in Sindh; where his father Dr.Aurangzeb was practicing as a doctor in same premises where his Grand father Dr. Ghulam Muhammed was also practicing. He took the education up to 8th from Govt. High School Wagan. He passed S.S.C from Govt. High School Naudero in 1978, H.S.C   from Govt. Degree College Larkana in 1981, B.Sc. (Hon) and MSc. Chemistry from University of Sindh at Jamshoro in 1995 & 1987, LLB & LLM from Karachi University in 2003 & 2006 , now is trying to be enrolled as student / fellow in Ph. D in Law.He was posted as a Lecturer of Chemistry on internship basis in Dec,1987 at Degree College Naseerabad District Larkana but   resigned from the post in May, 1988.

He passed the competition tests and interviews in  Ministry of Defence of Govt. of Pakistan in 1988 and posted as Experimental Officer in Defence Science and Technology Organization Explosive Laboratories at Chatter near Koh Muree where he researched & developed Explosive especially Fuel-Air-Explosive up to  five years, he worked hard and achieved the Goals. In Dec, 1993, he was bee transferred to the biological laboratories of DESTO  and then he resigned from the same post in 1996 because he was not more interested in biological work. After resignation he got LLB & LLM from Karachi University, and then became a professional lawyer in 2003. When he entered in Karachi Bar Association he became to know that there was no unity in Sindhi lawyers as lawyers of other communities were united under deferent names and slogans, communities and political affiliations. He formed Organizations SINDH DOST WELFARE ORGANIZATION and SINDH DOST LAWYERS ORGANIZATION   for unity of Sindhi and all other Lawyers without any lingual and ethical grievances. He is founder President of above organizations which works for welfare of people and unity of Lawyers, protection of Fundamental and Human Rights and to provide legal aid to Victims and innocent /poor people effected by un-lawful acts of Govt. officials.

JEHANGIR RAHUJO was also active student leader in his student’s life. He was been elected as Trasurer of Jeaye Students Federations in 1983, arrested in prominent incident of Torrhi Phattak on 17-10-1984 and he wrote two books namely 1. SINDH JO KARBALA and 2. TORRHI PHATTAK JA SHAHEED.

JEHANGIR RAHUJO is also  active Bar Activist and was been arrested  two times during struggle for restoration of Judiciary in 2007.Now a days he is practising Lawyer and Assistant Professsor Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Law College Malir Karachi
